Text Adding the Flip Plug-in to your Course

Now that you have set up your Flip account and you have created grids and topics, it is time to connect your account to Canvas. Follow the instructions below.

Add the Flip Application in Settings

Once you are in your Canvas course, click on the "Settings" tab.

Then, Click on the "Apps" tab and type in "Flip" in the Filter by name search area.

Click on the Flip icon and then click the "+Add App" button

4. Move to the next section to actually connect your Flip account with your Canvas account.

Connect Your Consumer Key and Shared Secret

After you add the Flip application to your course, you will be prompted to enter a Consumer Key and Shared Secret.

As you recall, this information exists in your Flip profile. Navigate back to your Flip profile and click "copy" on the consumer key and share secret in the appropriate grid row that you want to connect.

Once you see Flip under the "Installed" tab in your External Apps settings view.

Congrats, your application is installed!
